Presentation
"Making the Most of Your Money:
Post-Pink Slip and Beyond"
-- Sherrill St. Germain presents financial
planning tips for the recently or potentially
soon-to-be unemployed at the monthly
meeting of the Dynamic
Networking Group.
With
the recent wave of mass layoffs -- the
second in under a decade -- job security
is looking like a thing of the past,
but financial security doesn’t
have to be. In this presentation, we’ll
look at why the simple personal finance
rules of thumb that used to work no
longer make sense for a lot of people.
This is especially true for those in
industries that are subject to boom
and bust cycles, and the layoffs that
result. We’ll run through several
post-pink slip scenarios, highlighting
financial planning strategies that enable
families to survive -- and even thrive
-- in these difficult times, as well
as better weather future financial storms. |

Sherrill
St. Germain presents at the Women's
Leadership Summit 2009, a daylong
event at Southern New Hampshire University.
The conference theme is "Winning Strategies
for New Realities" and will feature
Gloria Steinem as keynote speaker.
Sherrill's
session, What Not to Do With
Your Money, will be a workshop,
run much like a personal finance version
of TV’s What
Not To Wear. We’ll explore
a couple of case studies of fictional
but true-to-life women in various personal
and financial situations -- including
one prospective career changer -- highlighting
issues that exemplify what NOT to do
with your money.
Just
like watching "What Not To Wear"
style mavens Stacy and Clinton transform
women from fashion victims to fashionistas
helps viewers learn how to make the
most of their personal assets,
you’ll walk away from this session
with new insights into how to make the
most of your financial assets
– no matter what economic trends
are in vogue.

Web site to learn more. |
