Manchester, NH – Sherrill St. Germain, founder
and principal of New Means Financial Planning of Hollis,
was recently interviewed for a story on WMUR-TV’s
evening News 9 program. The subject of the story was
the WomenBiz
Directory maintained by the Women's
Business Center (WBC), a New Hampshire-based nonprofit promoting
women’s business ownership as a means to maximize
personal potential and achieve economic independence.
The WomenBiz Directory is a listing of Granite State
women-owned businesses that St. Germain and other WBC
members use to connect with each other. “I think
the Directory is an extremely valuable resource, saving
me time and effort, whether I am looking for a particular
product or service for myself or my clients, or trying
to attract new business,” said St. Germain.
This story was one of several in a series featuring
the Women’s Business Center, which was named
by Citizens Bank New Hampshire and WMUR-TV as its first
quarter Community Champion in the area of workforce
development. Click to watch the video!
