Some of you may be familiar with the "10 Tips to Get You
on the Road to Financial Security" checklist in the New Means

that's because they are! Nonetheless, they are frequently
overlooked or neglected, especially as time passes and life
happens to your financial plan.

- With the difference... Pay yourself first.
- Build up an emergency fund of at least 3 - 6
months expenses.
- Use debt wisely.
- Insure against large losses.
- Maximize tax-advantaged accounts and employee benefits.
- When investing, use the appropriate asset allocation
strategy for you.
- Look for no-load or low-cost financial products.
- Keep good records.
- Make the best investment of all: continually educate
yourself about money matters.
